YSGOL HAF/SUMMER SCHOOL 2026
Register now for our first-ever Welsh history course starting online June 6.
Between the 1880s and 1960, the children and grandchildren of Welsh pioneers were educated in the one-room schoolhouse we have restored in Wymore’s McCandless Park. Meticulously researched by Jeff Jones, this nearly-100-page book is packed with full-color illustrations and newspaper articles. It is a must-have for anyone interested in Welsh-American pioneer history. The History of Pleasant View Rural School District 81 is available from the Great Plains Welsh Heritage Centre for $35 plus shipping. To place your order, please email gwenithcolgrove@gmail.com
